This 1-year fellowship in Hospital Neurology is designed to train future leaders in the specialty of Hospital Neurology and to help fill an expanding need for neurologists with this specialty training across the U.S. The fellowship will provide clinical training in Hospital Neurology, training in the academic and administrative aspects of neurohospitalist practice, and training in quality improvement (QI) initiatives and clinical outcomes research pertaining to hospitalized patients with neurologic problems. The fellow will be exposed to a wide variety of hospitalized patients with complex neurologic conditions and receive clinical and research mentorship and didactic education by a faculty of experienced neurohospitalists.

Eligibility/Application Process

Applicants must be graduates of an ACGME-accredited residency program in adult neurology and have board eligible/board certified status in adult neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The typical fellow would enter the fellowship at the PGY-5 level.
